| | | | | | | The international Irish music phenomenon, Celtic Woman, is renowned for singing inspirational melodies and heartwarming songs that stir fans of all ages and cultures. The 5 member Irish female ensemble (vocalists Chloe, Lisa, Alex, Lynn and Celtic Violinist Mairead) under the musical direction of David Downes, categorically defined a distinct genre by putting a modern twist on the Celtic sound. In just four short years, the group has played nine US tours, released 4 CDs, 4 DVDs and performed for close to 1 million concert-goers. The group's albums have held the #1 position on the World Music Chart while their four PBS TV specials have dominated the broadcast circuit. As a testament to the group's ability to cross musical and cultural boundaries, 2009 saw Celtic Woman perform on ABC's Dancing With The Stars singing for 23 million viewers and at the White House for The National Christmas Tree Lighting before President Obama and his family. A true celebration of Ireland, Celtic Woman's unforgettable signature style can be enjoyed by all on their brand-new PBS TV special, concert tour, CD and DVD- Songs from the Heart. | | | | |

| | | | | | Songs of the Heart | | Good Cd w/ very good music. Kind of short at 14 tracks but the ones it has are good.

| Very beautiful! | | Celtic Deluxe!
Very beautiful and uplifting music, that inspires to view life in a more flattering light. Production and composition are outstanding and a treat to the listener.
I also would like to recommend to you an other Celtic artist, Catya Maré, who uses a hauntingly beautiful violin as the delightful primary voice in her songs. Destination Love Light Longing Remembering The Day

| Beautiful | | A very beautiful and evocative album, that will turn every bad day into a good one. Love it!

| Best Yet | | I think I have all the CW programs and this is the best one yet! The new girls, Lynn and Alex are a good fit and add a lot to the show. I like the dramatic numbers and the group numbers are really great. More movement and more expression adds much to the performances. As soloists, they are obviously well accomplished, but the ensemble numbers are where they really shine. I can't get enough of it. I don't know if DVDs and CDs wear out, but I'm picking up a couple of spares just in case. I highly recommend this to fans of CW and you will love this one, too. I nice touch is the "Making of" included on the DVD. Performing and recording outdoors in Ireland is certainly filled with adventure.

| Songs From The Heart--CD | | I bought this CD as a Valentine's Day GIFT for my wife, Jeannette. She really likes Irish Folk & Celtic Music. She really likes to listen to this CD when driving to & from her work as a RN, to help her relax.
