excellentrating: 5 out of 5
This is true beauty to my ears. especially the songs from an angel's voice, Susan Boyle's. Just yesterday, a I have received a gift of this disc of Susan Boyle. It is impressive satisfaction that it caused to me the fact that I did not buy it practically by a single song but due to be Susan Boyle, and what a pleasing surprise rather causes me when I did listen to each and every one of the twelve songs.

Beautifulrating: 4 out of 5
A beautiful CD. The only drawback is Silent Night, which is out of place.

Um huh?rating: 1 out of 5
Someone gave me this cd because they thought one trained singer would enjoy another. I listened to the whole cd then tossed it in the trash. Can she sing? well I'll be nice enough to say that she does sing better than the average person but her lack of training is very evident. It has led me to the conclusion that she is highly overrated and, as another person put it, if she was beautiful instead of a homely middle aged fat women she wouldn't even be on people's radar. It's sad that this dribble is considered "great music" by so many people. But then again, most people don't really understand great music any ways and tend to like whatever record executives tell them to like, like little robots. It's truly sad to see someone like her praised when there are so many superior, well trained, vocally impressive singers out there that go unnoticed because they don't have Simon Cowell to pimp them out to the public.

This is a versatile CD. I listen to it both when I need to relax and to feel motivated.

A fresh, sweet voicerating: 4 out of 5
Susan Boyle has a lovely, almost girlish voice. I enjoyed this CD very much. I hope she will do more. I believe she has a place in today's music world.
