reviews
Boney James at his bestrating: 5 out of 5
Sweet Thing is an example of an artist at his best. The album makes you fall in love with the saxaphone, and most of the songs are worth listening to. After listening to this album, Boney James became one of the artists whose work I search for consistently.

Boney, but PHAT...rating: 5 out of 5
The true mark of a superior recording (album) is that every cut on it is a winner. No exceptions here. I have a lot of Boney's materials loaded into the changers of my vehicles as I spend a lot of time on the road in the Tri State Area (Ca-Az-Nv). Nothing soothes the soul on the road like good music, and his material is GREAT.
You can't go wrong with virtually anything he does, but this one in particular stands out, or should I say, "outstanding"? Either way, you win.

Smooth Jazz at its best.........rating: 5 out of 5
Boney James is the reigning "King of Smooth Jazz". He was influenced by one the greatest jazz musicians of all time in Grover Washington Jr. So there should be no surprise why this LP is a precious jewel to own. Modern day jazz classics like "East Bay", "Words" (Unspoken), "I Still Dream", "It's All Good" and the title track go beyond smooth while cuts like "Innocence" and "After The Rain" blend in but standout at the same time. This album is a Smooth Jazz classic and is great for a listener just getting into the genre of Jazz. There is also a R&B flavored version of "It's All Good" featuring Eric Benet. It will easy for R&B soul lovers to enjoy this record.

of all I remember this ...rating: 5 out of 5
I generally like Boney James and of all the albums of his (that I also lost), this is the one that I remember most.

As the title calls it, it is a real Sweet Thing to listen.
